Centre for Spiritual Living Saskatoon's Spiritual Leader
Rev. Lorraine Trout is a licensed minister and accredited teacher with Religious Science International. She has been the Pastor of Centre for Positive Living Saskatoon for the last 12 years . She completed her ministerial training in Calgary, AB and demonstrates a clear consciousness of Science of Mind Principles. She is very much a "people person" and LOVES to guide and support everyone who is on their own spiritual path. Her experience with her own personal growth ( ever growing, changing and clarifying) and her own transformation enables her to help others tremendously with the wisdom she shares generously from her heart ! She is dedicated to this teaching and to her Spiritual Community / Family.
Her personal motto is "In Joy/ Enjoy" and she truly practices what she teaches!
Rev. Darrell Gudmundson, P.Eng.
Darrell Gudmundson grew up on a farm near Elfros, Saskatchewan. He married Edith in 1966. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering in 1969, and worked 36 years for SaskTel in the roles of Engineering, Strategic Planning, Economic Study consultant, Marketer/Product Manager and Business Planner. Darrell was a founding member of the Centre for Positive Living, and served for 10 years on the Board of Trustees. He studied the Science of Mind with Rev. Kim Fairrell, and later with Rev. Lorraine Trout. He became a Practitioner in 1995, and was licensed as a Staff Minister in 2004, also his year of retirement from SaskTel. Darrell's publishing venture, GFW (Go For Whole) produces books, workshops, and presentation materials for use in teaching and in outreach for the Centre. His goals are to support the Saskatoon Centre, promote The Science of Mind across the prairie region, and to transform lives in the process. Darrell works with the Religious Science International Promotions Committee, and the RSI Seed Group Ministry, helping to encourage and support study groups and potential future churches.
Rev. Shari Beckton, B. Adv., R.M.T., R.Sc.P.
Shari Beckton was born and raised in Esterhazy - the Potash Capital of Saskatchewan.
It was a grand place to grow up. Doors were left unlocked and everyone knew everyone. Summers were spent at the family cabin at Bird's Point, Round Lake, just 20 minutes from Esterhazy. It was a pretty idyllic life.
She moved to Saskatoon in 1980 to attend the University of Saskatchewan convocating with an Advanced Degree in Economics. She worked in the hospitality industry for several years. While on holiday in the States she was introduced to her new career in Massage Therapy. It is the career that she feels passionate about and has been performing for the last 14 years.
In September 1997, she came to her first service at the Centre for Positive Living. It was the stepping stone to her first class and as they say - the rest is history. She has sat on the Board of Trustees and currently holds the President's chair. She has taken SOM classes from both Rev. Lorraine Trout and Rev. Liz McDougall. She completed her third year classes and became a Practitioner in 2001. After completing SOM 400 classes she became a Licensed Minister in 2004. As Staff Minister at the Centre, she is involved in the Kosmic Kids program, teaching SOM 100 and 200 level classes, Spiritual Mind Treatments/counselling and performing weddings and funerals.

Rev. Laurie Edwards
Rev. Laurie Edwards joined our Ministerial staff as Pastoral Care / Chaplain October of 2005. She lives in Clearwater Florida and joins us often with her message and her presence… as well as e-mail correspondence.
Rev. Laurie also serves the world through her ministry as a Professional Chaplain Volunteer at The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. She is a writer and a poet and has received numerous Editor Choice Awards with the International Library of Poetry. “Whispers in the Wind”, a collection of inspired writings… was released in 2000. Rev. Laurie is currently producing a meditation CD…
Rev. Laurie has devoted her life to the service of those in need. She is dedicated to discovering the Spiritual Cause of everyday living as well as the inner beliefs that has fueled them. She has embraced those who contact her with great insight and inspiration.“The qualities of goodness, and the courage to live them … is our quest as humans. Life is more than understanding the Principles of SOM… and of Life Itself… it is the practice of them that opens the door to the Beloved. It is the commitment to discovering the Absolute Truth … and becoming the example… that brings your life into the Glory.”
